Minecraft

I've been playing Minecraft for quite a while now and think it is about time I gave you an overview.

Minecraft is a simple game, where you mine, attack and build. The only limit is your imagination when it comes to building and my friends and I have built Theme Parks, Seasonal Worlds and even a giant Parkour map!

There are a few modes to play in. Adventure mode, Survival mode and Creative mode.

During Adventure mode you must create tools that are made of Gold, Iron, Leather, Chain (which you can't make but have to trade with villagers to collect) and Diamonds. You can't really destroy blocks, but that is to save the maps and there is still a lot of fun to be had.

Whilst playing in Survival the only real thing that you need to do is to survive. To do this you need to attack the mobs that inhabit the world, gather enough crops to survive health wise and of course make tools to kill the mobs with more efficiently.

This leaves Creative mode, where you build and no mob can hurt you. You can fly (which is great fun) and get things to build mini worlds such as Hunger Games, Survival games, Cops N' Robbers and many more.

There are lots of ways to play Minecraft. You can play on the Xbox, the Play Station, the PC and even on Tablets or other mobile devices. Where ever you play, you can meet up with like minded players if you join servers.

You can play with friends and play different modes at the same time and even change the controls of how you move.

If you haven't yet discovered Minecraft, then give it a try and with the hundreds of pieces of Minecraft inspired clothing and toys and youtube channels dedicated to watching others play the game (you can also get merchandise from many of these youtubers shops with links being in the video descriptions and at the end of the videos) you won't be able to avoid it for much longer!
